It has been 10 years since I first began Homeschooling. I still remember all the reasons that made be wonder if this was the best choice for my family, as well as the reasons that made me decide that is was. Personally, choosing to homeschool was one of the best decisions I have ever made for my children. I love being able to spend my days with them, teach them, and watch them learn. I love that my kids get to have that one-on-one attention, that a public school system would not offer them. I get to tailor their educational needs, as they need me to. As much as I love being a homeschool mom, there are pros and cons to homeschooling. Everybody’s pros and cons list will vary, because what I think is a pro you may think is a con and vice versa. If you are thinking about homeschooling, but just not sure, make a list. Once you have written your pros and cons on paper, it can really help you see things more clearly. In the end, you can always put your child in a public or private school if homeschooling doesn’t work out. So, it never hurts to try, if it is something you think you want to do (;
